A Glance Back at INHORGENTA Munich 2024

In February, amidst the crisp winter air of Munich, watch enthusiasts and industry insiders converged upon the renowned INHORGENTA trade fair. I attended with fellow employees from retailer WatchGecko, Megan Lansdell and Safie Agaar-Hutton.

One of the highlights of my visit was the opportunity to meet Christian Fischer at Mühle-Glashütte, whose dedication to precision and craftsmanship has long been admired in the watchmaking community. Sharing insights and anecdotes, Fischer offered a glimpse into the meticulous artistry behind Mühle-Glashütte timepieces.

Another memorable encounter was with Hakim El Kadiri from Elka, whose innovative designs and forward-thinking approach have been making waves in the industry. Discussing the fusion of tradition and innovation, I gained a newfound appreciation for Elka's unique aesthetic and technical prowess.

But the excitement didn't end there. I also had the pleasure of meeting Lennart Buiks from Subdelta, he was there as a representative for Squale an amazing brand!

Of course, INHORGENTA Munich was not just about individual encounters—it was also a treasure trove of incredible brands and watches waiting to be discovered. From storied maisons to emerging microbrands, the exhibition hall buzzed with excitement as attendees marveled at the diversity and ingenuity on display.

Who will be exhibiting in 2025? With each passing year, the anticipation grows, fueled by the prospect of new discoveries and unforgettable encounters. From industry stalwarts to rising stars, the stage is set for another unforgettable gathering of the watchmaking community.
